The Oyo State Police Command has made significant arrests in connection with a chilling murder case involving a family of six in Oloba Village, Lagelu Local Government Area. The suspects, identified as Hammed Akinbami, Ojo Akinbami, and Padonu Edward, are accused of invading the home of Ifeanyi Chukwu and his family, allegedly in retaliation for the damage of a mobile phone owned by one of the attackers.
According to police reports, the assailants were armed with a locally made Dane gun, two cutlasses, and a wooden club. In a brutal act of violence, they allegedly killed four family members, robbed the household of approximately N200,000, a motorcycle, and other valuable equipment including a Doma machine and a chainsaw.
