Orlando Modesti, born on May 4, 1944, in Argentina, embarked on a remarkable journey that would see him transform the architectural scene in Nigeria. After studying architecture at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario, he ventured into the world with aspirations of gaining global experience and forming multinational friendships. His career took him through the architectural hubs of Rome and London, where he worked with the renowned Norman Foster before finally making Nigeria his home in 1978.

Upon arriving in Nigeria, Orlando quickly fell in love with the vibrant culture and promising opportunities within the country's architectural landscape. He initially worked in various cities, including Kano and Kaduna, before establishing a pivotal partnership with Miguel Cabrera in 1988. Together, they founded Jardin Nigeria Ltd., a company that has since gained a stellar reputation for its creativity and technical expertise in design, construction, landscaping, and urban renewal.

Orlando's tenure at Jardin was marked by numerous achievements, including a significant project in Akwa Ibom State, where the team successfully landscaped a government hotel and constructed an 18-hole golf course.
