Ondo State Introduces AI System for Efficient Management of Civil Servants' Payroll and Records

Ondo State has taken a significant leap towards digital governance with the introduction of an artificial intelligence system aimed at enhancing the management of civil servants' payroll, pension schemes, and personnel records. The initiative was officially launched by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Thursday at the Cocoa Conference Hall of the Governor’s Office in Akure, where he emphasized the importance of technology in improving public service delivery.

The Ondo AI system is expected to address long-standing inefficiencies and challenges associated with human resource management in the state’s civil service. By automating these processes, the government aims to reduce delays in salary disbursement and ensure that pension payments are processed more accurately and promptly, thus improving the welfare of civil servants.
