NEMA Calls for Vigilance Amid Ongoing Flooding Crisis in Anambra

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has urged residents of Anambra State to exercise caution as persistent flooding wreaks havoc across the region. This warning follows a particularly alarming incident at Ring Road, Nibo, where several schoolchildren became trapped in a bus due to rising waters, prompting a rapid response from local authorities and emergency services.

Priscilla Madukwe, the Head of Operations for NEMA's Enugu Zonal Office, expressed her deep concern over the situation, describing the event as heartbreaking.
