NDLEA Apprehends Notorious Cocaine Trafficker Following Name Change

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has successfully apprehended a notorious cocaine trafficker who had previously been convicted but resumed his illegal activities under a new name. The suspect was arrested at his residence located on 6 Yemishola Street in Ejigbo, Lagos, where authorities discovered phone chargers that were reportedly similar to those used to conceal cocaine during trafficking operations.

In a statement released by the agency, officials emphasized the importance of vigilance in identifying and apprehending individuals who attempt to circumvent the law by changing their identities. NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, highlighted that these actions not only endanger public health but also undermine the efforts of law enforcement in combating drug-related crimes.

The agency's ongoing operations demonstrate a commitment to eradicating drug trafficking networks within Nigeria.
